On November 8, the user of a community site uploaded photos under the title ′Lee Yong Dae with his girlfriend.′ In the photo, Lee Yong Dae is shown kissing his lover in a pool.
Soon after the pictures went viral, Lee Yong Dae acknowledged the relationship and said, "She is an ordinary student who attends college (Dongduk Women′s Uni
versity)."
Netizens have since been speculating that she is an entertainment major at Dongduk Women′s University and that she previously appeared in the drama Bridal Mask.
They have also dug up her Facebook page, where she is friends with Lee Yong Dae. The owner of the Facebook page has a cast on her right hand, just like the woman in the released photos.
In the meantime, Lee Yong Dae has said he will "take legal measures against the one who first released the photos."
On why he said he didn′t have a girlfriend on TV, he said he did so "in order to protect her".
